Lori Wenz is a national board-certified nurse practitioner (NP) who has developed expertise in the treatment of diabetes and obesity. She has a board certification in Advanced Diabetes Management (BC-ADM), a Certificate of Advanced Education in Obesity Medicine from the Obesity Medicine Association, and is a Fellow of the Obesity Medicine Association (FOMA).

She helped to establish a comprehensive obesity treatment program in collaboration with St. Mary’s Medical Group, St. Mary’s Hospital, and General Surgeons of Western Colorado in Grand Junction, Colorado. Lori has dedicated her career to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to patients with obesity. She also mentors and educates nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and physicians interested in learning more about treating obesity. Outside of work, Lori enjoys hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding, reading, and taking walks on the beach with her husband Adam, and their two daughters.
